This year has seen some classic noughties trends make a comeback, some of which we are not quite sure about such as the low rise jeans and those big chunky trainers, and some that we are loving - most notably the french manicure! The white french tip was much loved for giving a classic, sophisticated look. Fast forward to 2019 and it is back, and this time with a colourful twist. Our Instagram feeds are now littered with bright images of vibrant french tip manicures in an array of colours and designs, making this an elegant yet super fun and eye catching look. We have rounded some of our favourite designs including a look we created for a client this week. Let us know which is your favourite!
1) Pastel Points
This summer we have loved creating pastel nail looks for our clients and the cross over between the pastel trend and french tip trend produces a pretty and playful look.
2) Colour Contrasts
This double colour french tip design is so simple yet effective. Using two contrasting colours this will make your nails look extra long whilst adding a real pop of colour and intrigue. Which two colours would you choose?
3) Dark and mysterious
With autumn fast approaching we are looking forward to trying out lots of darker, striking designs and this mysterious french tip is definitely on the list. This one is great if you want to experiment with darker tones but keep it subtle.
4) Fruity Fingers!
Watermelon fingertips… need we say more! Who can resist this fresh and fabulous design which is sure to draw all eyes, whatever your attire. De-licious!
5) Choose them all!
We always say if can’t choose a colour, why not choose them all and this look takes this to the next level. Express your personality by combining a mix of nail colours contrasting to darker colours on the tips. From pastels to muted tones to primary pops or metallics this may just be our favourite. We tried this out on a client this week who loved the finished result. What do you think?
